Frequently Asked Questions
Straightforward answers about working with Denali Nexus, from choosing support to planning your next IT project.
Getting Started
What Happens During the First Conversation?
We’ll ask about your team, locations, current systems, and the issue or project you have in mind. We’ll discuss timing and priorities, then explain whether a technical review is needed before we can put together a proposal. You don’t need a complete inventory to start.
Do You Support Businesses of Every Size?
Yes. We work with small businesses, midsize companies, and enterprises. We’ll discuss your staff, locations, and systems to determine the level of support you need.
How Do You Price Your Services?
We base pricing on the work involved and the support you need. After discussing your requirements and reviewing the relevant systems, we provide a proposal that explains the services and fees.
How Do We Get Started?
Call (800) 345-4367, email Hello@DenaliNexus.com, or use one of our regional numbers. Let us know what you need help with and when you need it done.
Support & Coverage
What Is a Managed Service Provider?
A managed service provider, or MSP, takes responsibility for an agreed set of ongoing IT tasks. That may include user support, maintenance, monitoring, and planning. The exact systems, service hours, and responsibilities should be listed in your agreement.
Can You Work Alongside Our Existing IT Team?
Yes. We can handle part of the support workload, provide specialist help, or assist with projects. We agree with your team on responsibilities and how we’ll work together.
Do You Provide Onsite Support?
Yes. We provide onsite and remote support across Washington, Utah, and Wyoming. Onsite scheduling, response expectations, and any travel costs are agreed in advance.
Is 24/7 Support Available?
Yes, by agreement. We can arrange business-hour, extended-hour, or 24/7 coverage. Your service agreement will set out the hours, response expectations, and how to reach us when you need help.
Should We Send Passwords with Our Inquiry?
No. An initial message only needs to describe your business, the issue or project, and your timing. If administrative access or confidential information is needed later, we’ll agree on an appropriate way to exchange it.
Projects & Transitions
Can We Hire You for a Single Project?
Yes. You can work with us on an assessment, migration, upgrade, or other project without signing up for ongoing managed IT services.
Can You Help Us Change IT Providers?
Yes. We can review your systems, collect documentation, coordinate access and vendors, and plan the transition. We can also carry out the move if you need that help.
What Should We Prepare When Switching IT Providers?
Start with your current agreement, renewal dates, vendor contacts, and any system documentation you already have. We’ll work with you to identify access requirements and plan the handoff. Keep passwords out of email; we’ll agree on a suitable way to exchange access information.
Do We Need to Replace Our Existing Systems?
Not necessarily. We review what you have, its support status, and the problems you are trying to solve. Recommendations should explain why a change is needed, what it will cost, and whether the work can be phased.
